ESCAPE TAKADA

This project was carried out as part of my school curriculum. The objective was to design an escape room from A to Z, entirely on our own.

STORYTELLING

Escape Takada is a game in which the player takes on the role of a young adult specialized in infiltration. Takada is hired by a mobster to steal documents belonging to a politician, with the aim of supporting his illegal arms trafficking operation.

For the past three months, the mobster has had the politician spied on by private detectives in order to discover the exact location of the documents.  Eventually, he gathers all the necessary information and learns that the politician suffers from severe memory loss. To compensate, the politician writes down the codes and passwords for various doors on pieces of paper, which he places in specific locations around his penthouse. These codes grant access to a room secured by a reinforced door, where a safe containing the documents is hidden.  

The politician always goes to bed at the same time, which makes the operation easier. Armed with all the information provided by the mobster, Takada must infiltrate the penthouse, bypass the security systems, retrieve the documents, and escape through the window.
